Members of Visible Community can access and correct their Community content and personal information. Members can also delete personal information by closing their account. 

 

Access: You have the ability to request access to Community content and the personal information that Visible Community has collected about you. To submit an access request, log into your Community account, navigate to My Settings > Personal > Personal information, and click “Community content” and "Personal information" under Downloads.”

 

Correct: You have the ability to correct inaccurate personal information that the Visible Community has collected about you. To correct information, log into your Community account, navigate to My Settings > Personal > Personal information. There you can make changes to personal information and click “Save” to complete the correction.

 

Delete: You have the ability to delete certain personal information that Visible Community has collected about you. To delete personal information, log into your Community account and navigate to My Settings > Personal > Close Account

 

You can close your Community account at any time. The data that is deleted when closing an account is only the personal information Visible Community has collected about you, while the contributions made (including, posts, comments, kudos, etc.) will be maintained as and associated with an anonymous username and a default avatar to distinguish it from other users.

You can also ask the moderation team / community admin team to close your account via private message.

After you close your account, you can't re-open it. If you later decide to re-join the community, you must re-register and start from scratch. Closing your account will immediately log you out.

 

Appeal: Residents of certain states have the right to submit an appeal for a previously denied request. To learn more about your rights, visit the Privacy Policy. To submit an appeal, please use the privacy inquiry form.  

 

Authorized Agents: You can authorize an agent to exercise your privacy choices on your behalf. To designate an individual or business as your agent, please send their name, physical address, and email address to privacy@visible.com. We may require additional proof that you granted the authority.

 

As a Data Processor/service provider, Khoros is only permitted to follow the instructions of the Data Controller/business (Visible). So, availability of a feature to the end-user will be dependent on the Data Controller/business (Visible) enabling it. Visible has this functionality enabled for all its members.
