Need to turn on 5G

My phone never goes into 5G service.

Hi Twiddler,

 

Your device may not be connecting to 5G service for a variety of reasons.

First, make sure your device is compatible with the Visible 5G Network. 

The following devices are compatible:

Samsung Galaxy S20 series* 

Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21+* 

Samsung Galaxy A42 (5G) 

iPhone 12* 

iPhone 13* 

Google Pixel 4A 5G 

Google Pixel 5 

Blade X1 5G 

Motorola one 5G UW ace 

* = Software update required to access 5G network.

 

If you are using one of the above devices, verify that you are within a Visible 5G coverage area. Check out the coverage map here.

 

Lastly, you may need to run a software update on your device to be able to access the 5G network. Update the software on your device and see if it connects to the 5G network.

 

If you have a compatible device, running the latest software, are located in a coverage area, and still can't connect to the 5G network, start a chat with Visible support to see if they can help.
