I am transferring my phone number from Assurance Wireless to Visible. Visible says they will cancel my old service when my number is transferred over.  When that happens will I still have access to my old phone and internet until I actually activate the new Visible account several days later?

I never ported but from my understanding you have to activate service on Visible first using the temporary number they give you. You then follow the porting instructions and port your number in, the port in is supposed to cancel your service when port is complete. DO NOT cancel your current service before you port your number, you will likely lose the number.
