New phone, same sim?

I'm about to buy a new phone. Is swapping my Visible sim out of my old phone and into my new phone all that's required?

You can simply use the SIM straight into new phone if the phone is compatible with visible network.

How do i find out if a phone is compatible, if i don't buy it from visible?

and you better make sure your phone is STILL supported.  I had a phone on the network.  I bought one just like it and it would not activate because that phone was no longer supported.   I can still use the phone I had because it is grandfathered in.
