My iPhone 12 still has the old Verizon physical SIM installed even though I have it turned off in Settings. The Visible eSIM is working great with no issues.
Should I remove the unneeded pSIM to maybe save a tiny bit of battery usage or just leave it installed so I don’t lose it?
I don’t think it’s a big deal either way but, I was curious what others were doing.
I’m leaning toward removing it since I doubt I’ll ever use it again.

Some have issues leaving a SIM in that isn't active from a previous carrier. I would remove it. If Verizon allows reactivation of old SIM cards and you plan on going back remove it and put it in an envelope and write SIM card on it and stick in your desk drawer.

throwing away, as old psims are deactivated as soon as you order a new sim, or switching to eSim
