It may be easier to do it on a PC on a browser rather than on the app. Sign into your account. click > next to payment method on the home page of you account, and click + add payment method and add in the new card number.

I need to change my payment method.
On my account overview page there are no links to get to my default payment method. The only thing on that page is info on how to begin my phone trade in and nothing else. I need to change the card before I do the activation so that payment does not go to same card I bought the phone with.

On your account overview page, on a PC, there should be an arrow that looks like this > next to payment methods, click on that and you should be able to add another or different payment method. If it doesn't show a current payment method then you may have to use the card that was used to pay for the phone then change it afterwards. You could also try contacting customer service and see if they have any suggestions on how to change it before activation.

Thank You for the reply. There is nothing on my account overview page except for how to send my current phone back as a trade in and the status of my order that has not been updated.
I received the phone yesterday.
How do I contact Customer Service? I have looked everywhere for contact information.
Visible AI Chat gets me nowhere.

For chat answer something else until you get a blank to type then type agent, this gets by the chatbot. An easier way and no waiting is use Facebook, X or Instagram, they may take about 5 minutes to reply but they will send you a link to a direct chat and there is no wait line. I had to contact them last week and when I got onto chat I was number thirteen and then by the time I got to 5 I was disconnected due to inactivity so I used X/Twitter.
