Porting Update (Update from a previous post)

So remember my long complaint post a few weeks ago? Well the headache returned! Last week, T-Mobile, out of no where charged me and yanked my number halfway from Visible. It killed my Visible service for about 4 hours! By halfway I mean I was missing about half my calls/text.  When Visible service came back I was only receiving txt and calls from verizon people. Went to T-mobile, got a sim, and put in a burner and sure enough had service with them under the same number. 

 

Visible ERT had been great at helping me out and today had to completely wipe my Visible account so I can port back in.  They promised to give me my referrals back (I'm sure they will) but now waiting 3 hours for T-Mobile to release my number back to my NEW visible sim....... Saga continues! ERT has been very responsive though

 

 

I feel bad taking all of this out on Visible bc their ERT has been great and it's T-Mobile that, without my permission, yanked my number over a week after I cancelled my order

It happened to me with T-mobile MVNOs while porting my number. I was able to call from both the carriers but can receive calls only on the old one. Then I had to go through chat and they helped me to completely port my number to Visible.

Finally got my number back to Visible!  That was an ordeal!  And they gave me my credits back but my referral code spot is now blank 😞 Oh well, hopefully it comes back soon!

Hi, I wonder if you might have some insight into what is happening with my situation as it sounds similar.  I have been a Visible customer for 8 or 9 months with no issues until 4 days ago.  My wife and best friend who use Cricket phones could no longer reach my number.  They just get a Verizon Wireless message that says the number is changed, disconnected, or out of service.  Everyone else can get through, it seems.  My Visible App on the phone also has an orange message box stating that when my carrier unplugs my previous service that I will then be able to receive calls and texts.  Visible chat people were unable to fix it after MANY HOURS and multiple different people coming and going on it two different days that I tried.  Some insisted it was a Cricket issue, so I got in touch with them and they said no, it had been too long since I was a customer for them to have anything to do with it.  I got a new sim card sent and that did not change the problem.  They reset it from Visible and still....  I even factory reset my entire phone and nothing changed.  I am at a loss...   Any ideas??
