This is wild! I've never done this before

so I'm trying to get started with setting up my iPhone XR (I have an unlocked phone and I'm getting a new number for it from visible) I'm stuck at the part where you enter your address in via the app. nothing else is happening.

Activation

I'm signing up for a new plan. Having a sim card mailed to me. After I receive it how long can I wait before I have to activate it?
