I brought my Samsung Galaxy S23, which I bought unlocked off of Amazon back when it was new-ish, over from Verizon last month. Signed up for Visible+. Mostly good experience so far, with one exception: whenever I'm on 5GUWB, even outside in my mostly tree-less exurban neighborhood walking my dogs, my connection is insanely slow or just doesn't work at all. Phone will show a full bars 5GUWB badge but even plain text groupme and whatsapp messages fail to send. Apps that require server connection to start fail. I doubt it is a coverage issue because there are no breaks in 5GUWB coverage (according to Visible map) in a >3 mile radius from where I am, and there are few obstructions -- no tall buildings and little tree cover (think suburban sidewalk). 5G and 4G work as expected but 5GUWB is essentially unusable. It's bad enough that I'd just turn off the 5GUWB if I could and stick with regular 5G/4G.
Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Like i said the phone appears to have a strong connection to 5GUWB based on displayed info, but doesn't behave that way in terms of actually using stuff.
Thanks for any help you can offer. I couldn't find anything existing in the forums that quite aligned to this issue so hopefully I'm not duplicating a previous question.

If you had good 5GUW speeds when you were on Verizon than what I would do is contact customer service and explain this to them and maybe they can do a background fix, or have them reprovision your SIM.
I have no knowledge of the UW band as I am in a 4G LTE only area. One thing you try is to download and app called Network Cell Info Lite and it will show you what bands you are actually getting. The little bit I know about UW is it could be C-band which is a midrange UW band and that will show as 5GUW and that may be congested in your area. I would think if you were getting the MM wave you wouldn't have slow speeds. Again not all that familiar with UW except for what I read about it.
Hope you get it fixed.
P.S. You're better off just starting a new topic rather then replying to an old one, a new topic shows up on the first page of the forum. If you reply to an old thread it likely won't get seen even by the original poster if they no longer visits this forum.

Thanks for the reply. My Verizon plan did not have access to 5GUW, which is one of the reasons I switched. So no basis for comparison. But the areas where I'm having these problems have no dead zones in Visible 5G UWB coverage map anywhere close.
I will try contacting CS though, thank you for the suggestion.
