Activation Question

Quick question, I would like to switch my service from Verizon to Visible today. I bought a new iphone from Apple, but have not yet activated it. Should I activate the phone with verizon first, or port my number and then  activate it with Visible?

You can do either as far as activating it. You could make it easy and just activate it on Visible, you will be assigned a temp number then you could port it in.
