Anyone else having an issue activating their Pixel Watch 4?

I've been trying to activate my Pixel Watch 4 with no success. I have no issue with SMS, my software is up to date and everything should work, but instead it tell me "something went wrong" and an EID error code shows if I select not now. It's been escalated, and apparently the engineering team has also been called in to help. I'm not sure why it's so difficult to add a simple watch to my plan, since I'm supposed to be able to have one at no cost because of my plan. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if the hassle is worth it, because if activation is this buggy, how well is the actual service on the watch going to work? If anyone has any theories as to why it can't activate, or if you're facing a similar issue, let me know.

Having the exact same issue. I bought a 2 Pixel watch 4's. One for myself and one for wife. Activated mine in less then 3 minutes. Perfect. Been working on my wife's for two days. Tried everything. I'm lost.

I'm having the same problem. When I choose the Visible cell plan in the Pixel watch app, it takes me to a Visible login page. Upon logging in it briefly says "We're pulling up the plan information for your Pixel Watch 4" and then immediately follow with "Something went wrong.". That's it, no other info. If I click to try again, it just goes to a whitescreen and nothing else happens. I've been chatting with support for an hour now and we have gotten to the part where they suggest restarting my watch. So frustrating.

Update on this. It seems that it has to do with the verification text required when logging into Visible when adding the cellular service. It wasn't sending this text. After chatting with one of their agents (Alfred) for a long time, he was able to fix it.

I got mine finally activated. Started from scratch. Deleted everything and started over. Success!!
