Help activating iPhone 16e

I bought a new iPhone 16e. I'm having trouble activating it. I am also trading in my iPhone 13. I went thru the activation/deactivation. Right now I have no service on either phone. From what I can determine, I seem to have partial activation on the new phone and partial deactivation on the old phone. For instance, I have no phone service on the new phone. As a result I can't send/receive phone calls, texts, or chats. When I turn on the old phone, it puts me in setup mode asking me to set up country of origin, appearance, etc. Then it brings me to the Quick Start screen. I'm hesitant to go any further because I don't know what I'm getting into. I also have 14 days to complete the transition because I'm using the Affirm financing option.

 

If anybody has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Not familiar with Apple phones but it sounds like you already factory reset the old device. Make sure new phone is up to date, it may be new but check again. Download the app on the new phone and then to transfer eSIM to you new phone try this link. https://www.visible.com/unbox/existing-member/esim
