Hotspot speed

How on earth can they only offer 5Mbps that's right F I V E not FIFTY MBPS? I'm pretty sure nothing will run on 5 Mbps. And then I looked up the $30 upgraded plan and it was TEN MBPS! 10 NOT 100 MBPS!! PLEASE SAY THIS IS A TYPE-O??!!

I stream movies in my camper without any trouble. Simple task like reading email work fine. Hot spot not intended to be a replacement for internet service, in fact is a TOS violation.

Because they are offering unlimited data with the hotspot. I am guessing it is to help curb abuse of data using the hotspot. Whenever I have needed the hotspot 5Mbps has been plenty fast using a laptop on. Most carriers that offer hotspot with their plans usually after a certain amount of data used, such as 10GB, most throttle hotspot speed to <1Mbps.
