Hotspot used for all of home internet

I read the fine print and saw that it said--- the hotspot cannot be used as a replacement for home internet . We will contact you if we notice all of your data usage is hotspot only . Anybody ever heard of this rule ?

Yes it is part of the Visible TOS. Visible service is intended for phone use not a replacement for internet.

Yes, it's been in the terms of service since I joined over 3 years ago. They put that in there so people don't abuse the data usage since there is no hotspot limits. If you need to use it temporarily when wi-fi goes out there is nothing wrong with that.
