I was on Verizon for a year with my current iPhone 14s and had good cell service at my home which is also a home business. While Visible uses Verizon services, since switching to Visible, calls are frequently dropped from my home office with the same phone and I only have 1 bar on cell service. I read somewhere that Visible data speed availability may have different usage thresholds than Verizon but nothing about cell coverage quality.

The cell signal would be the same provided there are Verizon cell towers in your area. Let me explain, this information is from what I have read. When you were on Verizon you may have been roaming on another networks towers(AT&T or T-Mobile) if there isn't a Verizon tower close by. Verizon has roaming agreements with the other big two and Visible doesn't have the same roaming agreements as Verizon does. This could be the only thing I could think of that would cause a poor signal versus Verizon.
There are steps you can try, not an iPhone user but somewhere in you settings should be an option to reset network settings(I don't mean a factory reset) and see if the signal improves. It should try searching for other towers/bands besides the ones you are on. If your network settings has a roaming toggle make sure it is on. If Visible has a roaming agreement with the other carriers in your area I believe this needs to be on to get what is called domestic roaming. I don't know if contacting customer service and explain this signal issue if they can fix anything or provision the SIM but could be worth a shot.
When it comes to data speeds a low signal strength can have an affect on speeds and cause that to be slower versus being closer to a tower with a good signal. As for data if you are on the base plan you are deprioritized and speeds will be slow when there is a lot of traffic on the towers and it is congested but this wouldn't matter as far as making a call.
I am not sure what else you can try other to check out the Visible coverage map and check what you area has for coverage. https://www.visible.com/plans/coverage
