MY CALLER ID ON MY ZTE BLADE A3 STILL DOES NOT WORK - ANY IDEAS?

My caller id doesn't work.  When I get a call, I can hear the ringtone, but the screen stays dark.  I've had this phone for over a year and still haven't resolved this issue.  Can somebody please help me.
