I just switched over to Visible, and had a Mifi line add-on with my previous provider. It was a less-than-ideal solution to power outages. I say less-than-ideal because the cell signal where I live is weak with any provider based on a hill (If I drive half a mile up or down, it's better).
My question is this:
1. Is there a way for move the Mifi line to my Visible account?
2. Is there a better solution for power outages when the home wifi goes out and the cell signal is weak?
Thank you!

No, it goes against Visible's terms and conditions to use a SIM card in a device other than a smart phone.
The solution to your home internet going out is to just use your phone's with the Visible plan. You can hotspot multiple devices but the drawback to that is that it shares the hotspot speeds limit of 5Mbps on the base plan and 10Mbps speeds on the plus plan. Not much can be done if you have a weak signal. Also, if on the plus plan and not in a 5GUW area any data used on the hotspot does count towards the 50GB premium allotment. Hope this helps.
