I currently am a Visible customer on the Visible plan ($25/month) and have been very happy so far.
I am considering a second phone with the following questions:
Scenario 1
Since I am an existing customer it’s unclear whether I can upgrade my existing line to Visible+ or Visible+ Pro at the save5 discount promotion.
If I can not upgrade, can I buy a new or Back Market phone for the second line to evaluate Visible+ Pro and get the discount/lock-in price under the save5 program?
Assuming the trial is successful, can I then roll over my landline (VZ) number to this line 2 or 3 months down the road? Is there a charge to roll this number over at a future date?
Scenario 2
Buy a new phone and plan.
After the evaluation of the Visible+ or Visible + Pro new line I would like to take my existing Visible phone and roll my landline number to it. Then I would like to take my existing Visible number and roll it to the new Visible + Pro plan using the new phone.
In summary my goal is to end up with a new Visible + Pro line using my currently assigned Visible phone number.
Did I confuse everyone? I am.... 🙂
Existing configuration = existing Visible Plan $25
Step 1 configuration: xxx-xxx-xxxx = new Visible + Pro plan on new phone
Step 2 after eval: change xxx-xxx-xxxx to current landline number on new Visible + Pro plan on new phone
Step 3: after evaluation, swap home landline (using old phone). I end up with my current Visible number on the new upgraded phone on my existing plan.
Looking for advice on how (and if) this can be done with the least interruption.
Thank you,
Tim Smith

Not sure what you have done since it has been 3 days. You can upgrade plans at any time you will be prorated for the difference from when you upgrade to your billing date. The SAVE5 discount should move, to tell before checking out click view next bill and see if it is added. If not you should be able to contact customer service and see if they can transfer it. Yes to part 2, you can buy a phone at back market and by using a new email address/account you should be able to add the SAVE5 promo to it. If you are trying to get the Backmarket Visible discount, if it is still available, check the deals tab on the website, I don't think that combines with the current Visible promo.
As for landlines, I have no clue about this and what it takes to get this done, that is over my head. If you can port a landline there should be no charge.
You can change or transfer pSIM or eSIM between phones. pSIM of course is easy as that is what I use and it is as simple as just move the card between phones. For eSIM I am not sure but think there is a transfer made simple button, or whatever it is called, in the app to move eSIM between phones.
