I was a Visible customer for a long time, but I decided to try Metro PCS. I was with them for less than a week as I couldn't get good service at my house. I decided to return to Visible and got a new (used), unlocked Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from Backmarket as I waited for the Visible SIM to arrive. (I actually put the Metro SIM into the new phone before the Visible SIM arrived, but the SIM didn't have service any longer, so I removed it.)
Once I set up the phone with Visible, including updating the software, I noticed there was no option to turn on WiFi calling in the settings. I looked at posts here and know that I'm not the only one with this issue. I recently reached out to Visible support via chat. This is what I was told:
"I will be honest with you, if you don't have a wifi calling option in your device we won't be able to do anything here in my end especially if the device is up to date. Since this is common to android and IOS devices, there are some devices' system that won't be able to mesh properly with our system. I'm really sorry to disappoint you but we are not able to fix this issue since we don't have a way to enable it from our end especially if this device is a BYOD device."
I have enjoyed Visible but this is a deal breaker. What is ironic is that Backmarket and Visible are partners. They offer discounted Visible service when you buy one of their phones.
