We’re aware of an outage impacting voice calls, text messages and data. We are working to resolve it immediately. If you are experiencing issues with service please power cycle your phone, as this resolves most issues.

Verizon has owned Visible since it's inception. It has always been a Verizon company.

WRONG-  Verizon started Visible-  they did not purchase it.  Outage is Visible/Verizon problem!

Power Cycling the phone don't help. I've not been able to send or receive text messages since Monday evening. I know your saying that are aware and trying to resolve the problem, but this shouldn't take 2 days to fix. 

We haven't been able to send or receive any either since Monday evening. I tried chatting last night they told me my problem was with my phone. We have 4 lines thru them every one 2 iphones and 2 pixels 6 are having the issues.

It's there network. Sounds.like an internal communication issue.

Updating the app does no good, either

 

I can't access ap because it has 2 factor authentication which requires me to receive a text code. Terrible 

Haha I know right... they keep asking me to login to the app when I finally get through to support and its like... I can't. It's two factor auth and my phone doesn't work. Hahaha. What a joke.

After 90 minutes on the chat line I'm up to #21!!! Woohoo. what service model.

Had a payment issue, went into the app to process payment again, the pay now button wasn't there. Now I am unable to access the app, my service is not working, and the overview tab on the website is not loading. I am unable to get in touch with anyone to help understand and solve the issue. I am incredibly disappointed with the service and want to switch, but I am not even confident they can make this happen without some kind of failure that would result in me losing my number... I don't even know the status of my account at this point

Just found out that Xfinity Mobile and internet is also down. Maybe there is something else going on? I have visible and depend on it to connect with my kids. So went to make a switch because I can not be in contact with them and that's when i found out about the outage with Xfinity also. 

What is going on???

I spoke with a rep for about 45 minutes yesterday. I could text but no calls, and to top it off, my bill is due. They confirmed that restarting my phone wouldn't work because the problem is on their side. I told them maybe they needed to reboot their system. 😉 As of today March 1st, I'm being told in the app that my account is past due and I need to make a payment. I tried about 10xs and they're saying my card was denied, or issue with payment. So I'm not able to pay, can't get into the chat and don't have service to text or call. They told me they would get back to me about it. Do Not Reset Anything!!  Not our fault.  Looking at Mint mobile for service.

It would be good to get an updated on this, waiting on a 2-factor 6 digit code from my insurance to get my roof repaired.  Can we get an estimate on how long this will be down?

I was equally strapped with 2FA - I just called both PayPal and Wells Fargo and temporarily suspended two factor authentication. At least I can work while Visible fixes their issues. I must say I'm tempted to leave, however.

It would be good to get an estimated outage time.  I have been waiting on a 6-digit 2-factor auth code from my insurance carrier to get my roof repaired.  This is keeping me from being able to get my deposit from them to get the process started with my roofer.

I’m in Bismarck North Dakota, and have not been able to receive texts from any other phone since for over 10 hours! I’ve been a Visible customer for a month and a half now and in the 25 years prior with other carriers,I have never had service out like this. I will be looking into other options.

Well, I am receiving text messages and calls again, the last chat agent helped me out. He had me: turn off roaming, and Bluetooth, update my phone, and then turn airplane mode off and on (30-second wait before turning it on). Not really sure if he had to do anything on his end. The update was released on today, 3/1/2023 and I just got this s23 Ultra a week ago.

Tried all the steps you indicated…roaming off, Bluetooth off, phone updated, airplane mode on/off.  Had Visible name but no bars, instead of SOS Only…waited a few minutes.  Phone appeared to completed update/upgrade.  Now working!  THANK YOU!!!!

The above solution did not work for me.  I still can't get bank verification codes or any other 5-digit verification.

Power cycling does not work for me. I've been on support with you on 3 different occasions now for at least 6 total hours. Phone still can't make calls, use data, or send/receive texts despite my phone showing 4 bars of service. Absolutely ridiculous. 

 

I've reset the eSIM multiple times now, power cycled multiple times, reset network settings multiple times. This is a joke. 

Just want to add that I can't even log in to the app because it's two factor authentication and my phone doesn't work. Lol. Complete joke. Has been going on for two days now.

I just sat for two more hours in the queue to get help for this issue and I asked them to get me a specialist to fix it and when I repeated my request they disconnected the chat instead of helping.

Update: they sent me an email that said they tried to call me but I didn't answer my phone.

 

Um, they are trying to call the phone that they have disabled with their network outage and they are surprised that they were not able to reach me. No worries though! They are going to try to call me back in five minutes!

 

And of course they sent this email from an email address that you can't reply to! I will never ever use this company or verizon again!

Power cycling does NOTHING. This has been going on since yesterday, 2/28 early morning. How is this not fixed by now? 
Everyone keeps taking about how even when you get through to chat help that no one is able to help. I’ve been booted off the chat 3 times after waiting hours. The app freezes and shuts down after waiting for an hour or more. 

I understand issues arise but this is ridiculous. What are we paying for? I cannot get into any account without 2 factor authentication and without texts my phone is useless. 

I definitely expect a credit or I’m switching to anyone but Verizon or AT&T. 

Also, WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE BEING HELPED AND OTHERS ARE BEING TOLD THERE IS NOTHING TO DO BUT WAIT? 

I keep seeing in other chats that if you pressure the chat person to help you that they will fix the issue but others are being told that they need to be patient. That’s messed up!

Curiously, I can send text messages, can receive text from friends on Verizon and AT&T, but can NOT receive texts from Amazon, Sam’s Club, and banks for 2 step verification. This is too strange and most frustrating!

Received too many emails to switch from Unlimited to the new Visible plan, finally gave in...my reward and expensive paperweight.  Stuck during activation and now I have no service provider.  Customer Service is useless and sounds like a broken record.  I get the same message every time, "cycle the power on your phone", "wait 2 hours and try it again".  Why push a service when its clearly not ready for prime time?  Are you really interested in providing services or is it just a money grab!

New Visible Plan = Poor Customer Service.  Have phone, and new sim, but no one cares my phone got stuck during activation.  Same canned messages, come on Visible, you are clearly not ready for prime time, just another failed attempt by Verizon to be something they are not.  Unfortunately, all phone companies are the same, full of promises but lack the ability to execute.

You’re trying to send me texts to access my account, but I have no access to texts with your service down. Therefore I’m locked out of my account with no way to access it or anything else for that matter. Terrible customer service.

updated iOS with new version, updated Visible app, checked all settings, powered off and still not receiving text messages from android phones
