Since the moment I obtained this number, it has been evident that the previous owner’s information was never properly removed from your system. As a result, I have been inundated with an overwhelming number of calls, texts, and contacts clearly intended for the prior owner which is a serious invasion of privacy going both ways .

You are on a customer based forum and no one from Visible is likely to even read this.
I will give you my response, I am by no means an employee or even affiliated with Visible other than being a customer myself.
It appears you have opted for a new number. Visible has no control over who has used the number before. You are getting calls from other sources that has this number in their database, it would have nothing to do with Visible. I began with Visible in July 2021 and faced the same issue with calls from telemarketers, friends and family, the very next day at 5am even. I then learned to use Do Not Disturb, then began blocking numbers, some I did answer when they called a second time and explained to them whomever they were trying to contact no longer has this number. Again, Visible has no control over businesses, friends and family, telemarketers, that have your new number whether it is in their contact or their database. Visible certainly can't clear your number from databases and contacts that previously had that number. It took me a few months to get most of them to stop. I did make the mistake of giving my number to O'Reilly Auto Parts for their rewards program earlier this year, a couple day later I got at least 15 spam calls for auto insurance to the previous user of my number. That is 4 years later and this had nothing to do with Visible, I was getting maybe 1 spam call a month, today I just got one and it has been at least 2 weeks since the last.
I can only suggest that if you had a number prior to this and it is still active on another carrier that you port that in. If you have an Android phone(I use one and no nothing about iPhone's) set up Do Not disturb for the hours you sleep or don't want to be disturbed. If you need contacts to get through on these hours you can allow them to bypass DND. I also use Flip to Silence(some Androids like Motorola and Samsung) or Flip to Shhh(Pixel), so when you get a call you can just flip the phone and it will silence and allow it to go to voicemail. Also, got to your account, privacy and security, then spam protection, turn it on and go to settings and set the level you want, I use all spam and have them go to voicemail.
