Hi,
I went to use my Galaxy A13 phone today. It will not let me log in. The screen just keeps flashing, going from black screen to the home screen. I cannot even shut down phone or reset it. Unable to receive texts but I was able to get a phone call. Tried doing the upper vol. button, lower vol. button and holding the side button. Was able to get screen to hold for a couple seconds to try and shut down hitting either the off button or reset button twice with no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your response. I did end up contacting Samsung directly and they were able to talk me through getting my phone reset without losing anything. I would not hesitate to call them again if needed. Phone call was answered fairly quickly and agent was wonderful. It looks like resetting is different for different models. I had to use the lower volume button and power button for 10 to 15 seconds to get where I could start reset process . Thanks again for your assistance.

You might want to try and contact Samsung support about this issue.
As for something to try on a Samsung phone, you can try and boot into recovery mode. If you can get the phone to power down completely, hold the volume up(not the volume down) and the power button together until you get the Samsung logo then release the buttons. Recovery mode menu should pop up after a minute or so, from there use the volume up and down to select/highlight clear cache partition, press the power button to enter, select yes, the phone should then ask to restart, select yes. If that doesn't clear, as a last ditch effort you can do the same procedure to get the recovery menu and then do a factory reset, again don't recommend it but if all else fails that is about your only hope.

I forgot about the volume down and power button is restart. My S24 went belly up after 10 months a month ago and it is hard for me to remember what things to try. Glas you got it working.
