I just enrolled in the Visible Pro+ plan.
I am experiencing very slow data speeds. Download speeds never exceed 2 Mbps. I even tried taking my phone to the Verizon store, to rule out the possibility of poor reception. The speed was still no greater than 2 Mbps. I am also experiencing spotty reception issues.
I have tried the following suggestions from the Help section:
1. Turn on Airplane mode and wait 15 minutes before turning it back on
2. Restart phone
3. Reset Network configuration
4. Redownload eSim.
Previously, I was on Mint and had good experience on their T-Mobile system. I had a physical Sim with Mint. I would like to see if a physical Sim improves my issues. The app suggests that you can replace an Esim with a physical one. But it sends you to the chat, which is a deadend.
I have in iPhone 13 and live in reasonably affluent suburb of Washington, D.C. Relying on Verizonโs reputation, I assumed I would have excellent reception.
Many thanks for any assistance.

You cannot compare Visible to Mint as they are on two different networks.
If you happen to have a friend in your primary location on Verizon network then you could compare to them.
May be Verizon is not having good reception in your area.
May be there are lots of Verizon users in your area fighting for premium data (This is network congestion)
Have you tried changing the settings to 4G/ LTE in your mobile so that it connects to LTE instead of 5G where all of the devices are connected to.
Try these and let us know.

Many thanks for the reply. Yes, I understand that Mint and Visible are on 2 different networks. But the other variable is that I had been using a physical Sim and now I am using an Esim. I would like to try a physical Sim, to see if that would make a difference, but i can't get the Chatbot to do that. Do you have a suggestion?
I have changed the data settings to 4G/LTE and that made no difference. I don't think there is a network overload, because I tried in various areas, including at the Verizon store.
Unfortunately, I don't know anyone on the Verizon network. I agree that would be the best test of determining whether the problem is a general reception problem, or a problem with my setup.
Thanks again.

One question, what speed test app or site are you using to run the speed test? If using Fast.com from my understanding that test the speed of video streaming and will likely read 2Mbps. Try using the Speed Test app by Ookla. That will give you the correct speeds. If using the browser on the phone use speedtest.net that is the Ookla online speed test.
If you are still getting slow data speeds it could be related to congestion but if it never changes no matter where you go or what time of the day it is then your SIM could need a provision on the backend. For that you would need to contact Visible customer service by chat or by messaging them on Facebook, Instagram, X, or on their Reddit page. I just don't think changing to a pSIM will make much difference when it comes to data speeds, the SIM only allows you to connect to the network, it shouldn't matter whether you have eSIM or pSIM but I could be wrong as I am not all that tech savvy.
For video streaming on the phone don't forget to go to your account on the app or online and turn on HD streaming in the settings.
