Port In Problems- can't send/receive to groups or copy anything

I have read through and the issues are not resolving from other similar issues in posts.

I have an iPhone 11, running iOS version 18.6.2. I installed Spectrum internet at a property and they offered a free phone account. I switched over and they started changing the information, so I immediately asked to undo this and return to Visible. I had to use a different email to get back into Visible. Within 45 minutes I ported out and then ported back to Visible. My number has also been ported and I verified I can make texts/calls/use data online.

However, group texts are not sending nor can I receive. I canโ€™t copy or send texts. I can send iMessages words to individual numbers, as before, but no copied photos and have lost the ability to send iMessages to groups. All was functionally working right before my switch to Spectrum and not working as I returned 45 minutes later back to Visible. Messages are only sent as SMS and it is not reliable.

So far I have tried troubleshooting by:
1. Relaunched the Messages app
2. Restarted the phone
3. Made sure Group Messaging and MMS Messaging were enabled
4. Reset my network settings

I went to iMessages Send & Receive setting an updated after switching. I went to "Settings -> Messages -> iMessage Send & Receive - my phone number was selected. I am unsure of what else should be done to get my phone back. Spectrum did a lot of transactions before I requested to cancel and return.

Hello mandyb -

I am not sure if you were able to get your issue resolved or not; however, it might be as simple as toggling iMessage off and then back on again in your iPhone settings (Settings -> Messages).

If that does not work, I would suggest deregistering iMessage using this site: https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage/

Once you have deregistered, I would toggle off iMessage on your phone, wait about 15 minutes, then turn it back on again.  This should start you off fresh again.
