Porting From Verizon

I'm getting ready to sign up for Visible monthly plan AND get an IPhone from them as well, and transfer my existing number.  As I'm getting ready to finalize purchase, it asks for existing Verizon phone number, account #, and port PIN, which I filled in.  It then says they will begin the porting process and once ported over, they will cancel my existing plan. BUT, I won't get my phone from Visible for a few days.

Question 1: does this mean that I can't use my existing phone from VERIZON, as the plan for that phone will be cancelled within a short time of submitting my order?

Question 2: I have 3 other phones on VERIZON plan.  Will the porting over and cancel of VERIZON plan only affect the 1 number that I'm porting over?

I joined on a new number and but did not port but from what I have read about porting here and on Reddit here is what I know, to answer question 1, No you can still use your old phone with your existing line at Verizon, it will not cancel until port is finished. Just make sure to keep that account or line active at Verizon.

Question 2. Yes, once the port finished it will cancel your number at Verizon. You will actually active the new phone and Visible will assign a temporary number before you can do or finish the port process. From what I read about porting from a multiline account it should only cancel your number. If your number is the main account or primary number of the account you might want to make one of the other numbers the primary number of the account.

Again this information is only what I have read here and on Visible's Reddit page. If you need help maybe this link will help you out.

Or go to www.visible.com and click on the help page and find other or more information on porting.

Also, this forum is not visited by Visible, it is customer based forum and not visited by many people so maybe if someone else that reads this that ported from Verizon can give step by step instructions.
