Hi, I have a few questions about Visible’s plans:
- Is the plan strictly prepaid? In other words, does service only work for the period I’ve paid for? If I want to cancel after 1.5 months, how do I ensure I won’t be charged extra?
- Are there any hidden or unexpected fees?
- Is the main difference between the $25 and $35 plans just the 4G/5G speed? Does coverage remain the same for both?
- Can I order a SIM card in advance but delay activation - for example, activate it two weeks after receiving it?
Thanks in advance!

- Yes strictly prepaid - no refund for unused service. If needed for a 1.5 month period you'd be paying for 2 full months (see below for referral codes that would bring the cost down on the 1st month). You can only pay for 1 month in advance.
- No unexpected fees - although some have been hit with what they consider unexpected fees for Global Pass usage - it's self-inflicted by failing to understand how Global Pass works. Simply don't turn it on (it's off by default on Visible+)
- No many more - see https://www.visible.com/help/plan-features for a side by side comparison of features between Visible and Visible+ - Visible+ is $35 when using the 35PLUS code for new customers. coverage area are the same. Visible base doesn't have access to the full 5GUW experience and premium (priority) data. 5G access is not a given, you need to be in a 5G area.
- Over in the Visible subreddit it has been suggested (by VisibleCareSupport) that you have 60 days to activate. Visible allows some time to coordinate switching from a different carriers plan; however, be aware there are frequent reports of delayed shipments of physical SIMs - allow for delays.
You can also get an additional $20 off your 1st month on either plan by using someone's referral code. Referral codes can be found in the Savings Spot or someone's posting history in their profile. In doing so you choose who to reward with a $20 referral credit for their own service. Most users here will gladly respond to private messages requesting their referral code.

To add to your question one. Make sure autopay is turned off. You will not be, or can't be, charged otherwise. There are no refunds with prepaid service so if you pay for the month, or year for that matter, and leave early you will not get a refund for any remaining time on that billing cycle.
