Sim ordered Want eSim Old service will expire before Sim card gets here.

I am transfering my number from another carrier. I ordered a sim card. The app says to not cancel my service. But the card won't be here untill after the next bill is due. what should I do? I would like to just use an eSim. How would I switch?

Not sure how to handle this but maybe talk to customer service via chat or by messaging them on Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter or on Reddit.

Even though you ordered a pSIM and it is on the way you can still go the eSIM route instead but I believe you need to contact customer service to do this since a card was shipped already. No, don't cancel your service before your port is complete, the port does that for you. If you cancel before the port is finished you will lose your number.

Also, it you do use eSIM when the card arrives toss it as it will be disabled and can't be activated. If you want to use pSIM over eSIM you can go another month with your carrier, you do need to activate the pSIM within 30 days or it becomes inactive. I wouldn't wait longer than 3 weeks if you do this.
