Transferring data from old iPhone 12 to new iPhone 15?

I currently have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, 512GB, on Verizon.

I plan to buy an iPhone 15 Pro Max, 1TB, Unlocked, from the Apple store, that I want to use on Visible.

I am looking at “Activate service on your iPhone with Visible”, here:

Nowhere does it say how -- or when -- I transfer all my data from my old Verizon phone to my new Unlocked phone on Visible.

How, and when, do I do that??

Transferring data from old to new has nothing to do with porting your number or activating on Visible or any other carrier. It is part of Apple's process to activate the new phone. You can do this before you activate on Visible.

Those Apple devices have a feature that will transfer your data to your new phone for you. The process is explained here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210216
