Unable to Unlock Iphone 16 Replacement

I purchased an iPhone from Visible last November. However last month, I encountered a screen issue. Visible instructed me to obtain a replacement from Apple, which I did and the issue was resolved.

 

Currently, according to the unlock policy, my device should be unlocked. However, Visible informs me that it is already unlocked. Upon checking my phone, I discovered that it is locked with a SIM lock. Visible asserts that they have no further assistance to offer. When I spoke with Apple, they informed me that Visible had locked my first device and that the replacement had mirrored the original. The only way my device can be unlocked is through Visible, but they are adamant about stating that it is unlocked and unwilling to provide any further assistance. Despite paying $1300, Visibleโ€™s attitude has become hostile, and they refuse to help me.

 

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?. If so how did you get your iphone locked
