Visble Not Unlocking the Iphone After 2 Month Poilcy

I purchased an iPhone from Visible last November. However last month, I encountered a screen issue. Visible instructed me to obtain a replacement from Apple, which I did and the issue was resolved.
Currently, according to the unlock policy, my device should be unlocked. However, Visible informs me that it is already unlocked. Upon checking my phone, I discovered that it is locked with a SIM lock. Visible asserts that they have no further assistance to offer. When I spoke with Apple, they informed me that Visible had locked my first device and that the replacement had mirrored the original. The only way my device can be unlocked is through Visible, but they are adamant about stating that it is unlocked and unwilling to provide any further assistance. Despite paying $1300, Visibleโs attitude has become hostile, and they refuse to help me.
Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?. If so how did you get your iphone locked

I am not tech savvy but I pretty sure a SIM lock and a device lock are not the same thing. It sounds like you added password to your SIM/eSIM which will lock the SIM on the phone, it has nothing to do with a phone lock. I know nothing about iPhones so you would need to Google how to check the phone itself if it is actually unlocked. Also Google about SIM locks and iPhones. I think if you added a SIM lock password and forgot the password you may have shot yourself in the foot. I think you only have so many tries to unlock the SIM and then I think it bricks the phone.
There isn't much traffic on here so not sure you if anyone else will answer. If you are a Reddit user post this on the Visible Reddit page and see if you get an answer.

Appreciate the answer, it is Carrier Locked and yes i try reddit also. Reddit don't let me post question becasue seem my to new to post in the forum that is reason i came here hoping for some help

Going through the same thing now. They are unbelievable. Iโm out an $1100 phone and had to buy a new one to switch service

same in here going through same no-sense. I activated my iphone 13, made phone calls, sent some text, received some text Visible etc then move the service my other iphone. It's been past more than 60 days and now Visible says the iPhone should be active on the service for 60 days per their policy but the unlock policy posted on their web site does not mandate such a thing. It is very frustrating.
I will report this to FCC and Best Business Bureau as well as filing a dispute with my credit card company. I suggest the same if they are giving you a hard time. What they do is not acceptable for a fully paid device. I will not use their service any longer once I'm done.

report them FCC and Best Business Bureau. IF you paid with a credit card, file a dispute with the credit card company. When it comes to customer support Visible is completely useless.

Finally Got unlocked with help of Apple not visible, visible is unhelpful and worst service I ever have. Never going to buy any device from them

Can you offer any details of how you got Apple to unlock it please? I'm in same boat, past the 60 days of buying iPhone 13 from Visible, yet phone still shows Carrier locked. TIA!

Reach out to Apple 2 level support and explain them that visible is not unlocking after paid off. They will first say no it take time to explain them why visible is unable to do that.
They can unlock from system and you have reset the whole phone once done

I lucked out and got a competent Visible rep to unlock my main phone today, without warning, after griping at the initial rep on chat for an hour last night. At least they did the needful. Now to get the second and third lines unlockedโฆ Canโt wait to transfer my three numbers out of their wonky environment when my prepaid year is up.

I'm not how easy to get it done through Apple support but what I did is I asked a supervisor to call me back. And talk to supervisor and explained all the details and she agreed that my phone should have unlocked by now. She escalated and made a request their tech team and 5 days later my phone got unlocked. Try it and get the names and case numbers to follow up directly.

finally my phone got unlocked today after going through multiple agents and hitting dead end all every time, I asked a supervisor to call me back. The supervisor I talked luckily grasped the situation right away and escalated and called me to give me an update at the every step of the process. It took 5 days but at the end my phone got unlocked. It was unnecessarily painful experience and this only helps drive existing customer away from Visible. It is sad because at the end of my plan, I don't think I will stay.
