Everytime that an Amber Alert or WEA weather alert comes through, my child who has Gabb phone gets the alerts every time. But my wife and I, who have Pixel 6's, never receive the alerts. This has been ongoing for at least a year now.
The device is on the approved list (https://www.visible.com/legal/legal-disclosures) and I have verified and disabled/renabled the permissions under Wireless Emergency Alerts. I've updated to the latest software update. My bills are paid. Yet, I never know if a tornado is within a mile of my house.
What gives?

Someone with a Samsung phone had a similar issue. Here were some suggestions. Give them a try:

Thanks, I followed the instructions on what seems to be the accepted solution there. Like I had explained, I've done all that already. The only thing I didn't have was my emergency address setup properly for wifi calling...but I had wifi calling off altogether. ๐คท I turned it on, and fixed my address...but won't know if it works until another tornado comes ๐ฉ
I tried talking to the Visible bot and it seems unable to understand my issue, or forward me to human.

When contacting customer service via chat type agent or live agent, you might need to do this multiple times, it should get you by the chatbot.
I don't think they can help you with the WEA though since this is settings on your phone. You just need to make sure they are turned on. Visible service does send out these alerts since I have gotten them last summer for tornados and severe thunderstorms.
