WIFI Calling

I have seen it mentioned that other people have had issues with WiFi calling.  My problem is intermittent and that makes it hard.  I have contacted CS a number of times and they put me through the same exercise and say well its working now.  The next step is they want me to reset my Iphone back to factory settings.  They keep asking me why I have to use WiFi calling... like they know its a problem.  The signal is so low in my area I have no choice.  But like I say about a dozen times a month I miss and important call.  Even the voice mail doesn't reach me for 20 minutes or more.

So My question is , has anyone had this problem and come up with a solution?  I like the service except for this.  It is unreliable and if I can't find the fix, I guess I need to move on to another provider.  Never had this problem before with Verizon or T-mobile.

Do you use iPhone or Android.

Activating WiFi calling over poor cellular signal may be tricky.

Could you try to activate the WiFi calling where there is good cellular reception.

Ensure you have a good WiFi connection with low latency to receive calls/ texts.

i have used WiFi calling feature without issues.

please try this suggestion and let me know.

Your response makes no sense.  The whole purpose of using WiFi for calling is to be able to make calls when there is low or no cellular service.  Advising this person that they need to have stronger cellular service to use WiFi Calling is just plain wrong information.

A mobile phone on the Visible network is able to also use WiFi calling.  I am a Visible customer and an iPhone user and I use WiFi calling all the time.  In fact, most of the time I am in my home my mobile phone uses WiFi calling rather than the Visible network because the cellular signal is too low in my home. When the cellular signal gets to two bars or less the phone will automatically switch to using WiFi calling.

First of all, did you proper enable WiFi calling on your mobile phone?  Second, how good is the WiFi signal in the places you are trying to use WiFi calling?  If your WiFi works well for other purposes (Internet access, streaming content like Netflix, etc) then it should be more than adequate for WiFi calling.  On the other hand, if you live in an apartment and are surrounded by neighbors who all have their own private WiFi, there may be WiFi interference that can cause problems.

Other than perhaps helping you to properly enable WiFi calling on your mobile phone, Visible has no other responsibility to make sure that WiFi calling works for you.  WiFi calling uses the local Internet provider connection (ATT, Spectrum, Comcast, Google Fiber, etc) instead of the Visible cellular service.
