I’m transferring from an expensive Verizon plan. I have iPhone text messages which go back years which I would love to keep.

Will my text messages be preserved when I port from Verizon to Visible?

Messages are stored on your phone or in the cloud and should be available regardless of carrier; however, if concerned back them up to iCloud.

For anyone who is looking up the answer to this question, I spent a bit of time trying to direct message Visible on social media, and I did get a reply in a chat with a nice representative on Insta:
”Your text messages will not be deleted as long as you did not factory reset your device or clear cache/data the messaging app. ^LT” 

I really think they should make this information more available… I can’t be the only one wondering about this!
