need help switching from iphone7 to iphone14. very frustrated! no help from VIS...

I've been with visible a few years and it's been great. Until I needed some help today. No telephone number or person to talk to and circular firing squad type directions. I'm simply trying to switch my acct and number to a newer phone. The trouble is that the old phone is an iphone7 with an actual Sim card; the newer phone, an iphone14, takes an esim. I transferred my data, apps, etc to the new phone through apple but now Visible tells me it may take up to 10 days to port my number to the new phone. They also advise me they are contacting my old provider!!! Can anyone give some advice?  I really need my phone

Sounds like you're trying to port your number when all you need to do is switch to eSIM. This can be accomplished through the app on your new phone.

 

  • Initial Steps:

    • Download the Visible app on your new phone.
    • Open the app and sign in.
    • Check if your new phone is compatible with Visible.
    • Make sure your phone is unlocked and running the latest operating system.
    • Connect to Wi-Fi.
    • Fully charge your phone's battery.
    • Back up the data on your device.
  • Switching Process via Visible App:

    • Navigate to Account > Your devices > Switching to eSIM is SIMple or Switching phones is SIMple and select Switch Now.
    • Choose "A new phone" if transferring service to a new device.
    • Enter the device's IMEI when prompted and select Next.
    • Confirm you've completed the "Before you activate Checklist".
    • If switching from pSIM to eSIM on the same phone, choose "My current phone".
  • eSIM Activation:

    • The Visible app will download your service.
    • If prompted, name the line, choose default lines, and/or toggle on eSIM.
    • Select Continue on the "Activate eSIM screen" twice.
    • Select Done on the "Cellular Setup Complete" screen.
    • Choose your default line for various functions like iMessage, FaceTime, and cellular data.
  • Post-Activation:

    • It may take up to 15 minutes for the eSIM to completely transfer and download.
    • Check your service by making a call, sending a text, and using data.

Still without service on my iphone14 transfer from iphone7. Seems the 7 has a SIM card and the 14 has an Esim and Visible has to transfer. They advised me it will take up to 10 days for them to make it happen so I have been without service for almost ten days and when I try to view progress I am sent to an AI circular firing squad with no results. Really frustrated and upset. I'm ready to have a few hundred friends and contacts start yelping in support of my no support and problem after 3 years of my loyalty to visible andt he many people and new customers I have sent their way. 

still no service on new phone. I need a live agent. I tried the visible phone number and it is a recording saying to text to 99370. I texted and it was send failure. any advice out there????

To get by the AI robot, always be non-specific. If given a choice choose other, something else, etc. If asked to type something always type "live agent" - eventually you'll be placed in the live agent queue. There's no phone number to call.

sorry to ask, but how do you get to the AI robot. None of the items in the help lisst deal with actual problems.
