Correct. However, when going about the eSim process, it evaluates whether or not your phone is compatible.

Yes, that's exactly what I did on my wife's iPhone this morning. It was a big button on the home screen of the Visible app.

Worked here as well! Thank you, IMF! Wife's phone service is now working like it should. I guess I can toss this Visible sim card...

I'm working on this now myself, switching my wife's iPhone over to esim in the newly updated app. Will update.

We're using regular physical Sim cards in our phones.
