Visible

So apparently my Apple Watch 3 cellular is not compatible with Visible. If I do switch from Verizon will I still be able to receive calls on it if my phone is nearby or if it’s on WiFi?

I recently signed up for the free 15 day trial. If I designate the Visible number as primary for the trial can I still get calls on my old number?
