I don't know if the promo code are still running for the upgrade, I have since deleted and removed the email from my computer. If your friend has been with Visible for 2 years he should have gotten an email or text for this promo. I am not sure if the promo ended. I think it was either GETMORE or 10FOR24 or something like that. One was for upgrading from the base plan and one was for upgrading from version one of the plus plan to new or latest version of the plus plan. If he didn't get any emails or text about the promo tell him to contact customer service and see if any promo codes are still running for existing customers.
Only other option to get the current promo for new customers such as the SWITCH25 promo is to port out and port back in with a new account/email address.
