New service won't activate

I am trying to switch to Visible. I got the new phone and number and paid the activation fee ($30) and my phone still isn't working. I've noticed talking to anyone at Visible is a nightmare. What do I do?

I activated and two hours later I have zero bars and when I call the number from another phone I am told the number is not in use
