Just Began Visible and Pleased

Hello, we have an iPhone SE, 2nd gen, that's been on Visible happily for less than a week. But I've decided to upgrade the SE to an iPhone 14 this week, unlocked from Apple. When it arrives would I simply install the current Visible SIM now in the iPhone SE into the new iPhone14, and do the activation sequence? Or would it be more complex?

Thanks!

If both phones have physical SIM capabilities, it's generally sufficient to just move the SIM from one to the other with no need for reactivation.

However, I'm not familiar with the iPhone lineup anymore and believe that the IPhone 14 US models only support eSIMs. In that case and regardless of whether there is a physical SIM in your old phone. you'll need to transfer to an eSIM on the iPhone 14. Take a look at and follow the instructions to the letter at:

Particularly pay attention to the transfer checklist and being connected to WiFi during the process.

You may also want to check out the more active  Visible subreddit at:

It's not only more active (and frequently more contentious) but has a more active Visible presence than this community - it's not clear if that presence is robotic in this AI age but does include some direct messaging. Why Visible doesn't provide that more active presence here is beyond me as are many other Visible policies - but Visible is as Visible does.

Let us know how it goes and good luck.

Thanks Visibly Present! My research on the iPhone 14 was spotty, not realizing the SIM issue. Ive bought an iPhone 14 from Visible, and now expect the transfer to go smoothly. Thanks again!
