Shame on Verizon and the bogus company called "Visible". I tried for three (3) days to sign up. I stupidly paid $275.00 for a year of service, not knowing I would never get phone service with my old number and not knowing there is no way to contact Visible obtain a problem resolution with a real person.
Unable to make any contact, I had no choice but to ask Citibank to dispute the charge and get me my refund. The final report from Citibank is that Visible is unwilling to make a refund. That's a major load of crap!
I somehow discovered that Visible did, in fact, activate my account with their own phone number, which I still don't know to this day. They even had the nerve to deactivate my account and still have kept my $275.00. I have no idea how I learned about the bogus number and the deactivation.
I'm 81 years old and hate the way these companies take advantage of old people who don't understand how to do stuff on the Internet without the option of talking to a real person for help.
I can't even find an address for this company calling themself Visible. They have even protected themselves from "bad press" and complaints on the Internet by hiding who and where they actually are.

In order to have been charged you had to have activated Visible through the app on the phone. Visible can not activate a number for you. You were assigned a temporary number upon activation, this is standard operating procedure, which you then will port your number from your previous carrier to Visible. Just opening an account with Visible would not have charged you at all, again that happens when you actually activate your phone through the app.
The way to contact Visible and get a live agent is by going to www.visible.com and clicking on the help tab, look in the bottom righthand corner of the page you will see a small blue box, click on that, that will open a chat box with Visible. You will have to go through a bunch of questions with the chatbot, if at some point you get a dialog box to type into type agent into the box. Other ways to contact that are much easier are to message them on one of their social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, X(Twitter) or on their support page on Reddit. I have had good luck contacting them through Facebook and on Reddit.
This link will get you to the page where you can message them on Reddit but you have to have an account on Reddit to message them and receive the messages back. https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=VisibleCareSupport
Do a Google search for Visible Communications, they are in Colorado. I tried to paste the information but for some reason this forum thinks a bunch of number is a bad word.
Visible isn't for everyone. The reason Visible can offer such good data plans is because they operate without brick and mortar stores and having to pay for an 800 number system for customer service. I have been a customer since July 2021 and I certainly don't think it is a scam.
Your options it either contacting customer service and finish your port in since you already activated service through the app or just walk away and be out the money you invested.
