You can safely ignore those hyperbolic forum posts. Yes, the legacy Visible Unlimited Plan and your $15 Party Pay discount will both go the way of the dodo and the net result is an eventual monthly rate increase of $5. Oh, woe is you! But before you allow yourself to be stampeded, consider:

1)  On October 18, 2022, it won’t matter what size your party is as long as it includes 4 or more members. Visible will close Party Pay and lock in your discount based on your party size level on that day and that day only. A 100,000-member party and a 10-member party will be essentially equal.

2)  Once Party Pay is closed, it will be impossible for anyone to affect your discount by leaving your party. Your $15 Party Pay discount will be locked in until you select another plan. You can keep your current plan and discount for as long as Visible supports the Visible Unlimited Plan.

3)  If you worry that your current party might drop below 4 members on or before 10/18/2022, or even if you just enjoy rearranging the deckchairs, then join the one and only Party Pay party. After the October deadline, if the party you're in drops below 4, you will lose the $25 a month and be moved to a higher plan of $30. It might take a party of 2000 months to drop below 4 or many could decide to jump to the largest party before the deadline. You're only grandfathered in if your party remains viable. The largest party of over 74,000 people provides a greater cushion. Verizon will probably eliminate all discounts and move everyone to the new plans next year. Time will tell.

Members who remain on the Visible Unlimited plan will be able to keep their current plan and Party Pay discounts (locked in at their Party size level as of 10/18) for as long as we support the plan.

... don’t worry, as long as you're in a Party before we lock in your discount on October 18th, 2022, you will continue to get your Party Pay discount as long as you remain on our Visible Unlimited plan.

Existing Parties will be available to join/switch until October 18th, 2022. Your discounts will be locked into place as long as you remain on our Visible Unlimited Plan.

No. Party Pay will close. You won’t be able to join or leave a party. Legacy accounts will continue with a Party Pay discount. Even if 999 of a 1,000 member party were to change to the Visible+ plan on October 20, the sole remaining member would still receive the already locked in $15 discount until such time as that member would choose a new plan or leave Visible.
