I just purchased a Moto g stylus 5G and it says it's not compatible and it is unlocked. Why would it be uncompatible?

Because Motorola makes phones for Visible with specific model numbers and only those that are sold by Visible will be in their database. I know this after chatting with both Motorola and Visible customer service earlier this year.
