RCS chat in Samsung Messages app disappeared after switching to Visible SIM in Galaxy S10 phone

I recently encouraged a friend to switch from Straight Talk to Visible.  When he activated his Visible service and switched his Straight Talk SIM with his new Visible SIM, everything went smoothly.  The only issue he has after the switch is that the Samsung Messages app that he is using for texting is no longer supporting RCS chat... just SMS.

In the settings for the Messages app there is no longer an Advanced section where you would normally turn RCS on or off.
If anyone has any idea how to restore RCS to the Samsung Messages app (that had it before he switched SIMS) I'd love to hear your thoughts.
PS: I suggested that he switch from the Samsung Messages app to the Google Messages app, but he doesn't want to do that.

Since no one ever replied to is, I will for info purposes as I assume by this point, the truth is clear.  Visible doesn't support RCS on their network (even though Verizon does).  Samsung Messages only supports RCS when handled by the network.  So no network support means no RCS on SM.  There is no way around this.  Currently, the only way to have RCS on a network that doesn't support it is to use a texting app that uses its own RCS server.  The only app that currently does that is Google Messages.  Even other apps that support RCS without the carrier (like Beeper) still need to piggyback off Google Message.

Visible supports RCS on Android. I have used Google messages app, switched to Verizon messages app for over a year, then Textra for a short period and now I am back to Google messages RCS worked for me on all of them. Right now RCS is not supported on the iPhone, the new iOS 18 update this fall is supposed to correct that.

It is likely the phone itself, the S10 is from 2019 and there have been a few issues reported on Visible's Reddit page of getting it to work, basic function will work.
