What is this set up mode you are referring to? We can't post photos but can you describe what is on the screen. It's been a few years since I used the app to activate but when I open the app I get a sign on page with 2 options, get started and sign in tabs. Once signed in I am on the home screen which shows welcome, my name! at the top, transfer your old number to Visible tab and so on, that is the home page. At the bottom you should see home highlighted and two other tabs, shop which takes you to phones/wearables and account which shows you your account information. There is no setup app that I know of, it is the same app whether activating or viewing account.
I actually rarely use the app on the phone. The app isn't needed other than to activate service. I prefer to use my laptop and browser to access their website to view my account information.
