I am going to try and run my house internet off of my visible service...I have been doing this for 3 weeks now and it is working just fine (I live alone, don't game online, just stream and surf). I would like to get an appliance that would act as an internet source  tethered to my router for whole house wi-fi.

Get yourself a travel router like a TP-Link AC750. But first, Go to you tube and find a setup (walkthrough) video.... it'll make total sense when you see it.
