I've had some luck resolving this the same way people are (unofficially)
resolving the rampant dropped call problem: Remove the SIM card, either
replace it with a non-working one or boot the phone without a card for
5-7 min, then replace the SIM card...
Lots of users have been successful in getting non-officially supported
devices to work on Visible. I've found that if the device works at

My phone regularly says 5G while on Visible so it seems it really does
use more than LTE. I do, however, have dropped calls every.single.day
that they've been unable to resolve.
