App or website to activate?

What's the latest opinion (December 2025) on whether I should use the Visible app or the Visible website to activate a new service? I've seen that people have had trouble with the app and reported that the website worked, and I have a special problem that I just discovered that the phone that came from Visible doesn't have its own charger, so I don't know for certain that I'll be able to charge it until I buy a charger. So I can't afford to waste electricity getting this activated, and I need to know whether the website can be trusted to work safely or the app is a must have.

You need to the app to activate, it can't be done on the website.

Go to the website on a computer, go to the help section and find how to activate, follow it step for step, some do have issue but I think the majority don't.

Most phones these days only come with a cable and no charging brick. Phone companies do this thinking most people already have chargers so they are supposedly trying to be green.

You could also use the cable to charge by connecting it to your laptop/ computer until you get the charging brick.
