Can I make payments on my phone if I cancel service?

I have damaged my phone beyond repair and will need to get a new one. I have no insurance. 

My employer is willing to pay for a phone and line through Verizon, but I want to bring my number with me.

Is it possible to port my number to Verizon and continue to pay off my phone monthly, as I don't have the money to do it all at once.

If you have a loan through Affirm than you should be able to move to Verizon and keep paying for the phone. They are completely separate from Visible. Affirm is like a bank or credit union, you owe your money to them and not Visible.
