Can't Send Photos...

I have a Samsung phone (which btw, I can't post model name because this community says its "a bad word") and I'm using the Google Messages app. Lately I get only about half of the texts sent to me but know I can't send out photos. Any ideas? I tried some troubleshooting but issues remain.
