Can someone explain to me the deal with roaming? (Extended coverage)

Domestic roaming within the U.S. is included on all Visible plans.

Roaming occurs when traveling to remote areas within the U.S. and the only available cellular service is another carrier’s network (i.e. other than Verizon's network). While roaming, data speeds may reduce to 2G speeds.

The Visible+ plan includes

• High-speed roaming data while in Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

  • If activated before March 27, 2024:

    • Up to 0.5GB/day

    • Data speed will reduce to 2G after 0.5GB/day

  • If activated after March 27, 2024:

    • Up to 2GB/day

    • Data speed will reduce to 3G after 2GB/day

Roaming in  other supported countries on the base plan requires a 24 hour Global Pass. First one each month is free on Visible+; $10 per day on base plan or beyond 24 hours on Visible+.

Global Pass when applicable requires auto pay being enabled -to bill in advance. Caveats about billing when 1st used.
